Set-backs

The large resin cutting disks I bought to cut the new 'ferrite' rods, where not up to the job, I suspect the Ebay-special rods are in fact iron dust and extremely hard. The cutting disks barely made a dent.
I think I will bite the bullet and buy some inductors from Falcon Acoustics. I am sure the extra cost will in fact be a time saving because I will know exactly what ferrite type it is and the manufacture quality is far better than I can achieve with the tools I have available.

I will make a pair of coils from the existing AM radio ferrite I have to do some testing comparisons.

I will continue with my coil mounting Idea of square end-cheeks bolted through with nylon bolts, to try and avoid gluing.
